Scan the QR code or visit the address on the back of your postcard, enter your code, choose tarot or astrology, and complete the short form. We'll send your reading directly to your inbox.How long will my reading take to arrive?

Always. Every reading is created by a person not AI or automation.Do I need to ask a question?
Not at all. Astrology readings are drawn from your birth details. For tarot, you're welcome to leave it open and we'll read intuitively, or you can share a focus area if you prefer.Are the readings personalised?
Yes. Every reading is created individually, based on your details and the moment you redeem it.Are readings suitable for everyone?
Readings are for adults aged 18 and over. They are designed for reflection and entertainment, not as professional advice.What if I'm unhappy with my reading?
Readings are intuitive and subjective, so we can't refund a reading simply because it didn't resonate. If something has gone wrong, such as your reading not arriving or not being what we described, contact us and we'll put it right. This doesn't affect your legal rights.Can I return my postcard?
Yes. You have 14 days from the day it arrives to change your mind. Email us, then return the postcard at your own cost. Its code becomes void once you return it, and we'll refund the price you paid within 14 days of receiving it. If you have already received your reading, you can no longer cancel. See our Terms.Do you store my personal information?
Only what we need to deliver your postcard and your reading. Reading details are deleted 12 months after delivery. Payment and order records are kept for as long as tax law requires. We never sell your data, and we only add you to our mailing list if you subscribe separately. See our Privacy Policy.What if I lose my postcard?
If you still have your unique code, you can redeem it. If not, contact us and we'll do our best to help. If your postcard is lost in the post, we'll replace it or refund you.Do you do face to face readings?

Our readings and postcards are for people aged 18 and over. By buying a postcard or redeeming a reading, you confirm you are 18 or over.4. Terms of Service
By buying from The House of Good Fortune, you agree to these terms.4.1 Orders and delivery
Your order is accepted when we dispatch your postcard. We dispatch within 3 working days of your order by Royal Mail Second Class, to UK addresses only. Postage is included in the price. Royal Mail delivery times are estimates. If your postcard has not arrived within 30 days of your order, contact us. Postcards are at our risk until delivered, and we will replace or refund one lost in the post.4.2 Reading codes
Each postcard carries one unique code, which entitles you to one reading, tarot or astrology. The code is valid for six months from the date printed on the postcard and cannot be redeemed after that date, although we may extend it at our discretion. A code can be given to another adult as a gift. It cannot be exchanged for cash.4.3 Your reading
We deliver your reading by email within 21 days of you redeeming your code. We aim to send it sooner. You are responsible for giving us a correct email address and accurate birth details. Every reading is created by a human. Your reading is for your personal use, and may not be reproduced, published or resold.4.4 Cancelling and returns
You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your postcard, without giving a reason. To cancel, email us, then return the postcard at your own cost. The code becomes void once you cancel. We will refund the price you paid within 14 days of receiving the postcard back. If you redeem your code within the 14 days, you are asking us to begin your reading straight away. If you then cancel before your reading is delivered, we may deduct a reasonable amount for work already done. Once your reading has been delivered, you can no longer cancel.4.5 If something goes wrong
Readings are intuitive and subjective, so we cannot refund a reading simply because it did not resonate. If your reading is not delivered, or is not as we described, contact us and we will put it right by repeating it, correcting it or refunding you, as appropriate. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.4.6 Refusing service
We may refuse to provide a reading where we reasonably need to, for example where a code is misused or the request is abusive. Where we do, we will refund any unredeemed purchase, unless the code has been misused.4.7 Complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.5. Limitation of Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Subject to that, we are not responsible for decisions you make or actions you take based on a reading, and our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. Our readings are provided with reasonable care and skill.6. Privacy Policy

Your name, email address and delivery address; your reading code and choice of tarot or astrology; birth details for astrology readings; and any question or focus area you choose to share. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card details. Please do not include sensitive information, such as health details, in your question. If you do, we will use it only to prepare your reading.Why we use it, and our legal basis. To deliver your postcard and reading (necessary to perform our contract with you). To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation). To send you the House Letter, only if you subscribe to it separately (your consent). Buying a postcard or redeeming a code does not add you to our mailing list, and you can unsubscribe at any time.Who we share it with. Only the services we need to run the business: Carrd (our website and redemption form), Microsoft Outlook (email), Stripe (payments), Royal Mail (postal delivery), Substack (newsletter, only if you subscribe) and Etsy (only for Etsy orders). We never sell your data. Some of these providers are based outside the UK, and where they are, transfers rely on the safeguards UK law requires.How long we keep it. Reading content, birth details and questions are deleted 12 months after your reading is delivered. Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires.Your rights. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it (except records we are legally required to keep), to restrict or object to how we use it, or to move it. Contact us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We comply with UK GDPR.7. Cookies
